The celebration of the year for Priests offers us, Rogationists, a golden chance to reflect on our vocation and identity as well as on the mission entrusted to us in the Church. God, in spite of our personal unworthiness, has chosen us to follow Christ, His Son, and today He needs our help. It is something great: God needs our collaboration to continue to put up the Kingdom of Christ. How could we not quote again and again the enlightening words of the Pope Paul VI: “The name itself qualifies you, Rogationists, for your mission as  worshipers who implore for the most beautiful and high mission  of meriting and preparing vocations to the kingdom of Christ”. The daily difficulties , problems, doubts, moments of depression and loneliness should be seen as part of our growing in trust in our “BELOVED”, depending on Him, who has chosen us.

Considering our Rogationist vocation rooted on the “ROGATE”, prayer, we need never lose that inner tranquility which springs from union with God. As disciples of Jesus we must be ready to take up daily the cross and follow Him. Since the days of our Novitiate, the start of the Religious and Priestly journey we well know that the love of Christ and the commitment after Him implies permanence, the irrevocable gift of ourselves.

Let’s remember that God has chosen us and His call is irrevocable! For this we are called to hand on to the young Rogationist generations the precious gift  of  the Rogationist tradition of commitment and service for making the Rogate universal.
Our being chosen places us besides all the countless Saints, Pastors and Confreres who have followed faithfully Christ to the offering of their lives for the flock entrusted to them.

Let’s continue our journey always keeping in mind and heart that God has chosen us.
