August 27, 2012- The Community of Father Di Francia Center of Studies in cooperation with the Administration, Faculty, Parents, and Pupils of the Rogationist College Paranaque & the Daughters of Divine Zeal organized an outreach program for the benefit of a close to 500 family evacuees who are temporarily being sheltered at the flood-stricken Siniloan Elementary School in Siniloan, Laguna. The families sheltered in the evacuation center are coming from the town & villages in the surrounding nearby areas of Laguna Lake. They are the victims of the recent monsoon last month that brought rain water comparable to Ondoy.

As early as 6:00 AM, the Religious Brothers led by the Superior of FDFCS, Fr. Bong Patiag with some Daughters of Divine Zeal led by their Major Superior, Mo. Elna Casimsiman brought the goods all the way from Parañaque and Marikina that took four hours of travel by three utility trucks to reach the place of Siniloan, Laguna. As soon as they reached the evacuation center, the Rogationists and FDZ with the assistance of the social workers of the place prepared the people for the celebration of the Holy Mass presided by Fr. Bong Patiag Jr. at the multi-purpose hall. Immediately after the Mass, the religious brothers organized a program and fun-filled showcasing of talents with prizes for the young and adult members of the families sheltered in the evacuation area. After which, the recipient families were given the prepared goods from the gathered donations from the parents & pupils of the Rogationist College-Parañaque, Daughters of Divine Zeal and FDFCS Community.
