The Office of the Provincial Superior has released an initial report on the collection and distribution of the calamity fund today, November 28, 2020. The collections were organized in response to the Protocol 293 2020, calling all the Superiors and Confreres of the Rogationists in the St. Matthew Province to "raise support and assistance for the victims of the recent typhoons in the Philippines."
Within the Mass on the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which was presided over by Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, the Provincial Superior, three (3) religious students were instituted to the Ministry of Lectors and eight (8) others to the Ministry of Acolytes, as well as the launching of the Rogationist Mission Day 2020.
The two-session module workshop on "Biblical Theology on Consecrated Life" concluded yesterday October 3, with Fr. Ulrich Gacayan, RCJ as its facilitator. The workshop started last Saturday, September 26, which forms part of the program of the Pastoral Institute for Vocation Ministry (PIVM) for the religious students preparing for the Perpetual Profession.
The two-session module workshop on "The Psycho-Spiritual Demands of Consecrated Life" concluded, with Fr. Ariel Tecson, RCJ as its facilitator. The workshop started last Saturday, October 24, and finished on October 31, both held in the morning.
Eight religious students were ordained Deacons, through the imposition of the hands of Most Rev. Jesse E. Mercado, D.D., Bishop of Parañaque, last September 14, 2020, Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross.
The St. Matthew Province held the “Webinar on Making an Annual Financial Plan” participated in by the Superiors / Responsible, Treasurers, Finance Officers and Heads of varied institutions, enterprises and foundations of the Circumscription.
