Canonical Visit to the Missionary Station of Indonesia
Highlighted by moments of common and personal dialogues, and of prayers – including courtesy visit to the Bishop of Maumere, Most Rev. Ewaldus Martinus Sedu, DD, a visit to the Daughters of Divine Zeal and a few friends and a brief encounter at the Formation Institute of St. Hannibal (FISH) – Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, the Provincial Superior of the St. Matthew Province, completed his Canonical Visit to the Missionary Station in Indonesia, which stretched through August 11-20, 2023, counting the days of travel. Through this visit, the Superior underlined the orientation of the Province to assist the confreres here as they prepare for their establishment as a Delegation in the near future.
Bro. Christian Allan De Sagun, RCJ, the Provincial Secretary, joined Fr. Cajigal to document the said visitation and to check on the archives of the Missionary Station, which now covers three houses in Kota Baru, Wailiti and Ribang.
Thanks to the warm welcome and generous accommodation of the confreres in Indonesia. May the Lord always bless and guide this missionary work and everyone under its care!
