As a pontifical clerical religious Institute, founded by St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia (1851-1927), the Congregation of the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus (RCJ) finds its spirituality in the words of Jesus in the Gospel “The harvest is rich but the workers are few. Pray, therefore, the Lord of the harvest that He may send workers into His harvest" (Mt.9:37-38/Lk.10:2).

RCJs and FDZs Celebrate the Feast of July 1st

July 4, 2018

Jesus is the Heart of Communion and abiding source of renewal for the Rogate Family.

As part of the ongoing journey in the Year of the Clergy and Consecrated Persons, the members of the Family of the Rogate rejoice in the gift of God, which St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia received, that is, the July First Eucharistic Celebration.

This unique and grand gift to our family has been regarded by St. Hannibal as an occasion for reawakening one's faith and fervor, as well as of affection to the institution. This common celebration among the Daughters of the Divine Zeal and the Rogationist Fathers and Brothers together with our lay missionaries and partners manifest our living and loving communion envisioned by St. Hannibal so that we may be always worth of this vocational grace.
